If you mean that WotC ought to do similar market research, I think they already did some years ago.

If you mean you think they should look at this particular poll here on EN World - Not unless they specifically wanted to know demographics of their message-board-using DMs. EN World does not comprise a good random sample of gamers.

Another that doesn't fit exactly. Born '66 started D&D '77, before that no real RPG, but some tabletop miniatures gaming. - I voted born earlier/started earlier, but you could have done with a born earlier, started in the 77-82 period option.
