In case you were wondering why you would apologize to me..<snip>

You've gotta be kidding me. You want me to apologize to you for that? I don't think so. Your general attitude triggered that. What I will apologize for, however, is that you were right, and I was wrong. You will not, however, get an apology out of me for anything that you feel was "crass". You have no idea how frustrating and irritating it is when you simply quote the same argument over and over, continuously failing to offer any new information and expect me to swallow your argument when you consistently prove that your interpretations of the rules are wrong (character wealth comes to mind). Sure, my interpretations were way off, completely wrong in fact, but when you repeatedly present the same incorrect argument over and over, why should I even begin to trust in your capability to grasp the rules?

So, Weeble, I was wrong. I apologize.

Haven't you guys gone to bed yet, here it's 8:30 in the morning so I'm pretty sure it's very late where you are.

Sleep on it, will you!

Hey Weeble,

I assume you are relatively new around here. kreynolds has the uncanny ability to lure people into long arguements about nothing(as this one is). 'Tis best to usually just drop it lest you go mad. You should have seen him(her?) go round and round with Caliban! I fell into an arguement with him a while ago and now I can't even remember what the hell it was about(probably because it was meaningless).

The wealth guideline is just that, a guideline. I use it to control _accumulated_ wealth over an adventuring career. What the character's do with it is their business. For new characters entering my game, I calculate the party average wealth carried by the party, give the new PC 75% of that and let him spend it as he see's fit(with my approval) and then give him some miscellaneous magic items or other wealth as I deem necessary for balance. If we are starting a new party with PCs above 1st level, I just let the PCs have that as money to spend as they want(again, with my approval). If they want to use it to scribe new spells into spell books, fine. If they want to buy potions or magic weapons, fine. If they want to by a gold mine, whatever...

It is in Miriam Webster, now just put a cork in it for christ's sake. Grow up.

check all of your quotes. grow up yourself. Now, use the true definition of verisimilitude and reread what I wrote. If you don't want to, it is because you know your mentioning that word in my passage repeatedly was pointless.

Yeah, but it has been too much fun :D

You mean the one about Haste and Speed weapons? Yeah, I was right about that. It just ticked everyone off that a message board newbie trumped nearly all of the "experts", though my crass attitude probably didn't help either. :)
