Multiple Different Abilities: Abilities such as an attack roll bonus or saving throw bonus and a spell-like function are not similar, and their values are simply added together to determine the cost. For items that do take up a space on a character’s body each additional power not only has no discount but instead has a 50% increase in price.

Interesting that they have the "Multiple different abilities.....Multiply higher item cost by 2............ Helm of brilliance" entry on the table in that file but contradict it elsewhere. :D But then again not surprising since the guidelines are full of such errors anyway. :D

I've always gone with 50% increase on each ability except the most expensive but had noticed the chart change in this file and figured I had missed another minor 3.5 change.

Well, text takes precedence over tables, anyway. :)
Very true. :D Unfortunately, I tend to glance at the tables first when looking up stuff like this and didn't scroll down to double-check the text that goes along with it for more detail this time. :o
