D&D (2024) Could we get a Bloomburrow (Redwall) setting for 5.24?

It's not just that, the MtG side actually cares about it's that it actually cares about Canon & metastory instead of seeing it as an inconvenience to be milked or ignored at their whims. Too much rule of cool (from their POV) and not enough respect for lore and consistent logical story telling with a living setting.

The MtG's issue is not with world building, which they are great at. it's with world breaking, which they can do far too often. They should not be afraid of doing sets and stories with smaller, less cosmic focus, like the lBloomborrow story.
Agreed that MtG breaks worlds too often, and Maro has made a point that this is a continuous problem that they are now actively trying to avoid doing.

That said, MtG has great worldbuilding and art because it's built on the backs of Hasbro's most profitable business strategy (getting kids into gambling with randomized booster "fun" packs).

Weasefolk and molefolk are lower in population.... in that zone. Maybe there are more in other regions. We only know the Valley, and maybe it is a "wildspace" or a complete plane.

If there are islands, then we could see dwarf version of bigger animals.

We could see in the future animalfolk from other continents. Some creatures could be "hybrid", mixture of two different speciesl. Maybe even an atagonist new faction in the future, the "chimera", beings mixing different species.

Other possible antagonistic faction could be a "hive-collected" zombie-like plant parasite, something like a softer way of the infected from "the last of us".

I repeat again about the size difference, because it is not only about the clothing but also the weapons to be used. For example a mousefolk couldn't shoot arrows created by bunnyfolk.

I guess now WotC worries more about the creative freedom than keeping the coherence with the continuity. If this started to cause serious troubles, then the M:tG multiverse would suffer a "reboot".

* Could smaller animalfolk to create magitek constructs? Something style Zoids or Voltron franchise, but with a more biopunk touch.

* Maybe the calamity beasts are like the behemots from Ilkoria, maybe there is some link between both.

* How would be animafolk version of prehistoric beasts from the ice age?

So, for the brewers, and as a general topic ... how do you scale a game when the players are tiny animals? Do you just scale up the world so a mouse is considered medium or have the PCs be tiny?

The PCs are tiny.
I like to create reasonable alternatives. For example, there are "horses", they are just called... badgers, there are ocean faring ships, they are just called giant turtles etc.
Obviously I have to rethink it for Bloomburrow.
But I try to use only "tiny" animals and the "small" animals are the big bad/good guys.
Medium and large animals are epic level challenges.
And so on and so forth...

I've been thinking about this, and I figured I would just treat the Mice sized creatures as small characters (Just mapping traits from gnomes, halflings, etc) and the Rabbit, and Otter sized creatures as medium (Using Humans, or elves). Some may have a choice of both.. Like Rats, could be either small or medium, depending on the player's desired. Are they a big rat? Or a lil one? Weasels might be like that as well.

The beasts would be medium to large.

Admittedly it wouldn't be too drastic of a mechanical change.. More just in the flavor. The "Dungeons" would be burrows, and dug out tree trunks and the like.
