Crazy gesalt vs. multiclassing question

PIA

First Post
If a 6th level campaign was to start off and the DM said to everyone "make a gestalt pc" Where would the following pc's bab, saves, feats, & powers be?

2fighter/2psychic warrior/2monk
-
2Psion/2Rogue/2Paladin

if staggered correctly it should be equal to a martial (full) bab, and have pretty good saves we were just unsure of what exactly the saves would be? We were also unsure of the feats that would normally be alloted for a normal none gestalt build for each class at the 2nd level, and how picking gestalt would influence feat allowance for this rediculous although possible build.

Thus far our collective wisdom have decided the following progression to be most advantageous.

at level 1
1 fighter/rogue
2 psychic warrior/rogue
3 fighter /psion
4 psychic warrior/ psion
5 monk/ paladin
6 monk/paladin

I understand this is from a purely "powergaming" mindset, we were just establishing guidlines/boarders on what is going to be allowed and what is going to receive the DM's almighty smiting!

I'll take a stab at this. When building the gestalt numbers, you look at the "best" of everything. So here goes:

Code:
LVL BAB Fort Refl Will
 1 Best Good Good Poor
 2 Mid Good Good Poor
 3 Best Good Poor Good
 4 Mid Good Poor Good
 5 Best Good Good Good
 6 Best Good Good Good
Using fractional BAB and save formulas (also bookless, but Googled for them), I came up with the following:

4 levels of Best BAB plus 2 levels of Moderate BAB = (4 × 1) + (2 × 2/3) = +5 (round down)
6 levels of Good Fort = 2 + (6 × .5) = +5
4 levels of Good Refl plus 2 levels of Poor Refl = 2 + (4 × .5) + (2 ÷ 3) = +4 (round down)
4 levels of Good Will plus 2 levels of Poor Will = 2 + (4 × .5) + (2 ÷ 3) = +4 (round down)

We were also unsure of the feats that would normally be alloted for a normal none gestalt build for each class at the 2nd level, and how picking gestalt would influence feat allowance for this rediculous although possible build.

Apart from the feats you get just from being a character of a certain level or certain race, with this build you should get:

Level 1: Fighter Bonus Feat (for being a Fighter 1).
Level 2: Psychic Warrior Bonus Feat (for being a PsyWar 1).
Level 3: Fighter Bonus Feat (for being a Fighter 2), Psion Bonus Feat (for being a Psion 1).
Level 4: Psychic Warrior Bonus Feat (for being a PsyWar 2).
Level 5: Monk Bonus Feat (for being a Monk 1).
Level 6: Monk Bonus Feat (for being a Monk 2).

Anyone care to verify? Thanks in advance. [EDIT: Thanee's right; forgot PsyWar moderate BAB. I've modified my calculations to match.]

And rightly so, since it is not entirely clear.

BAB should work out to +5 (Psychic Warrior has moderate BAB, right?), since the best you get are 4 levels of good BAB (fighter and paladin) and 2 levels of moderate BAB.

Saves are more complicated. IMHO you just count the number of good and poor levels for each save, and regardless of multiclassing you only get the initial +2 from a good save progression once (at least that's how I believe it works, but I'm not entirely sure here).

That would work out to:

Fort: 6 levels of good -> +5 base
Ref: 4 levels of good + 2 levels of poor -> +4 base
Will: 4 levels of good + 2 levels of poor -> +4 base

You get all class abilities and all bonus feats and so on from all classes. Bonus feats in particular are not considered the same ability for Gestalt.

Don't calculate the bonuses at each level, just the best progression. Otherwise, a wizard on one side with a fighter/sorcerer on the other side would have full BAB. Basically, add up each side as if it was a seperate multiclass character, then take the best of each value.

BAB: +4

2fighter/2psychic warrior/2monk has a +4
(+2..........+1....................+1)

2Psion/2Rogue/2Paladin also has a +4
(+1.......+1.........+2)

So you have a +4 BAB.

Fort +3

2fighter/2psychic warrior/2monk has +9 (all three have good saves)

2Psion/2Rogue/2Paladin has +3 (only Paladin has a good fort save)

Reflex and will break down to +3 and +6, respectively.

For feats you would gain 3 normal feats
2 fighter feats
2 psychic warrior feats
1 psion feat
and 2 monk feats

Each class gets it's class abilities, unless those class abilities are duplicated on the other side. None of them are, as each is drawn from a unique list. That includes powers known. PP's are based on psion, as they get more than psychic warrior (you may be able to make a case to pool them, as you would if you were just multi-classing).
