78 - There are no "pure" races. There aren't even any half races. Every character is made up of a mixture of different stocks, and PCs must have at least 8 different influences, mixed from 16 parts ("fey" "earth", "dragon", etc.). You can take a single part up to three times. Monsters are more varied, but still nearly always have at least 4 influences. Humans, by definition, have a little bit of everything--and are called "mongrels" by all right-thinking peoples.
If you take "fey", you have pointed ears. Even if you are otherwise a troll.
