Intelligent constructs gain feats normally (that is, 1 starting feat and 1 feat per 3 HD)BOZ said:All creatures get at least one feat now, except for Vermin, Oozes, and Constructs, although they can still have bonus feats.
I believe that this one is a skill
Control Shape (for infected lycanthropes only)
Maybe I can lend a bit of a hand here, from the work I did with Soldarin's system...Level Adjustment:
I’ll be honest with you: at the moment, I have no idea how to calculate this! If you know, you’ll have to share with me so that I can learn!
I'd be interested as well.I have heard that the Construction rules and costs for Constructs have changed; anyone care to enlighten me on what this entails?
Craft Construct [Item Creation]
The creature can create golems and other magic automatons that obey its orders.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Craft Wonderous Item.
Benefit: A creature with this feat can create any construct whose prerequisites it meets. Enchanting a construct takes one day for each 1000 gp in it's market price. To enchant a construct, a spellcaster must spend 1/25 the item's base price in XP and use up raw materials costing half of this price (see the Golem, Homunculus, and Shield Guardian entries for details).
A creature with this feat can repair constructs that have taken damage. In one day of work, the creature can repair up to 20 points of damage by expending 50 gp per point of damage repaired.
A newly created construct has average hit points for it's hit dice.
Note:The market price of an advanced golem is increased by 5000 gp by each additional Hit Die, and increased by an additional 50,000 gp if the golems size increases. The XP cost for creating an advanced golem is equal to 1/25 the advanced golems market price minus the cost of the special materials required.
