Critical Role Critical Role Campaign 3 Discussion (SPOILERS)

That's what the last one was.

And the new one was introduced in a similar way (hey, I have something for you guys to help me with!), with a similar "temporary" feel.

It would certainly be an interesting take!

It may be a useful one if the player has a few professional obligations that get in the way of being there every Thursday, too.

One of the things that keeps this idea alive for me is that Matt said that something about Travis’ character, narratively, made it make more sense to wait rather than introduce him at the start. So I wonder what the hook is. Either with Chetney or some other, later, character. I dunno. It’s weird.

They are not doing it live anymore. All episodes are pre-recorded, so barring multiple obligations in a row, they've been recording around everyone's schedules.

That would have been helpful for Ashley Johnson, seeing as she was also acting in a live action show during much of campaigns one and two. It will be interesting to see if the upcoming Legend of Vox Machina show incorporates her character of Pike Trickfoot into parts of the story that she wasn't around for in the original campaign.
