Crossgen RPG

Fast Forward Games just picked up the Crossgen license for RPG's and CCG's...

I have to say whilst I'm unfamiliar with their previous material, I'm glad to see someone having a crack at using the CG universe for a RPG.

It would be nice to see them use M&M Superlink rather than D20 though.

In either case I'm not sure all the facets of the CG universe is best served using d20/OGL though. Way of the Rat for eg would seem better served by using something like Feng Shui.

The CrossGen universe has potential for LOTS of roleplaying. Although I wish they wouldn't use d20.

This will be interesting. Very interesting. CG tries very hard to make good comics, and if they try that hard with this I'll be impressed. (I only read Sojourn, although I've been considering swapping over to collecting one or both of Forge and Edge.)

I'll certainly be taking a look at it. Airships from Meridian, the Lesser Races from Scion, a decent map of Partington fromRuse, troll stats from Sojourn... I'd be ready to go

Oh god, not Fast Forward! If I may quote the Socrates of our time, Homer Simpson, "They're the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked." Seriously, the Fast Forward d20 stuff is some of the worst drek on the market. Hell, I'd buy a Mongoose or Troll Lord book before buying something from Fast Forward (and that's saying something).

Maybe if I close my eyes and pinch myself, I'll find this is all a bad dream...

Lol Baseballfury... Tell us how you really feel why don't you? Don't hold back.
Crossgen puts out some pretty decent comics that I read many of including Route 666, Ruse, Mystic and Sojourn. As for turning them into D20 supplements I guess we'll have to see. Personally, if I were to use any of the Crossgen titles for a game I'd be using them in the Hero System.

Problem is Hero Systen doesn't have an open licence...but I'm sure if they get together they could work things out.

I just started reading Sojourn after a long hiatus from comic book buying. What a great fantasy based comic. I would be interested in seeing a D20 supplement for Sojourn.
