Campaign Setting

Scarred Lands until I die...and even then I'll come back from the dead to play some more! ;)

But Midnight, Ravenloft, Oathbound, Eberron have some nice stuff too.

Otherwise I'm Scarred Lands-ing it until I'm dead.

(And even if it does die, I'll keep playing there!)

Of course, I am running a Blackmoor game. I am however working on a new homebrew that will come into the "next thing" if he keeps going as well as it has so far. I tend to experiment alot and I shoot canon out of a cannon as often as possible.

My Campaign idea!!!

I'm getting ready to run a 16th level start in the Dragonstar Universe. As the players are hanging up their swords for good, something happens that will bring the players out of retirement that could effect the universe.

The main bad guys: Mezzenbone(Dragonlord, Dragonstar and current ruler of the Empire), Iuz the Old(Greyhawk), Manshoon(Forgotten Realms) and one from Dragonlance possibly and one from Dawnforge

The main good guys: Eliminster(Forgotten Realms), Lovithan(my character from Greyhawk), Lazarius(Dragonstar and resurrected into a Dracolich or sanctified have not decided yet), and a couple others from the other settings mentioned above.

Using Dragonstar allows me not to be nitpicky and have portals open up to other worlds and would allow me. Just place the worlds where there would be confrontations going on. What I did was place the known worlds out there on the border of the Red Dragon domain and the Blue Dragon domain and bring back a dead high lord to fight the Red Dragon forces for all of those who have the Dragonstar universe and know what I mean.

Greyhawk, into which I've dropped Freeport (and Ptolus, which has now been destroyed by the PCs' failure in the Banewarrens). The feel of the campaign is definitely Greyhawk, though; no cheesy Freeport humor, and no over-the-top Ptolus magic.

My next campaign will be either Scarred Lands, Underdark, Diamond Throne, or Eberron. Or it'll be Mutants and Masterminds' Freedom City. (I've got enthusiasm for all of them right now. Scarred Lands is probably ahead of the pack due to my lack of time and the setting's immense support.)

In a way all our campaigns are homebrew, with lots of ideas borrowed from popular settings anyway.

Of the current, one is pretty much Forgotten Realms but with custom geography, the other is loosely based on Greyhawk with some Planescape stuff.
