Back in the bedroom, Boog reloaded his crossbow. As he did so, he became aware of the conversation, the argument really, between Jann and Gerald. "Why don't you two give us a hand with the zombies?", he asked, somewhat irritated with what he percieved as an irrelevant squabble. "We'll have plenty of time to settle which amulet does what once this fight is over."
"Very well," sighs Jann, a little annoyed. However, as soon as he turns and focuses on the combat, his demeanor changes. He gets down to business, rushing his way through the casting of his spell. As he finishes, he points his finger at the zombie that is standing over his fallen comrade. A shimmering white bolt of magical force tears through the air, unerringly into the flesh of the creature. Unfortunately, the bolt does little more than sizzle a bit of flesh from its chest. He attempts to keep an eye on both Gerald and the zombies as the fight progresses.

[sblock=ooc: ]Magic Missile at Z3, only 2 points of damage. 1 1st-level spell left.[/sblock]

(last round) While in the battle, Kamdar pulls his whip toward him, amidst the fray.

(this round) Stubbornly, Kamdar tries again to trip the zombie, trying to catch it off guard. "Fall already!" His whip flies true, energized by his song.

[sblock=OOC]Sleight of Hand? I can do that.
Sleight of Hand (1d20+4=14)
Phew, barely.

Now to trip: Touch Attack and Opposed STR (1d20+2=15, 1d20-3=17)
Woo, nat 20! It's been too long since one of those. And I forgot the +1 to my attack roll (for singing), but it's kind of moot[/sblock]
Oh, and I just wanted to remind everyone that you get a +1 to attacks and damage still

Again? The zombie you had tried to trip last time (Z2) is already dead. I'll let you substitute either Z3 (to your left, fighting Keth, with a major wound from Keth's greatsword) or Z4 (to your right, fighting Ridik, with a lesser wound courtesy of ao'Thuir).

ooc: He's very easy to trip then, isn't he? ;) (ahem) Let's go with Z4, then, as I'm hoping Keth's is going to go down very soon anyway

Boog reloads his crossbow.

Kamdar successfully trips the zombie fighting Ridik. (Zombie's strength check: 6)

Z3 almost (attack roll: 12) slams Keth, but doesn't manage to hurt him.

Levin is next. Since I'm guessing you'll still try to focus, something that won't affect the next actions, I'll go ahead for now.

Z4 stands up, provoking AoO from Ridik, Keth and Kamdar. Keth swings his greatsword around, slicing a good chunk of flesh off. (Attack roll 18+7=25, damage 12). Weird that he can take an AoO while fighting an opponent on his opposite side. Ridik and Kamdar, let me know if you want to use your AoOs. Also, does Ridik still want to turn, knowing that he's cornered?

As he sees an opening, Ridik swing his mace right on the zombie. "Got you!" (OOC: att:15, dmg:6)

OOC: Well, with the AoO that hit, Z3 and Z4 have both recieved at least 17 damage. I think I wouldn't use a Turn against two almost dead zombie (almost dead... from undead, it is nothing special :p ). If I can change my action, I'll try to finish the nearest zombie.

Ridik, seeing he finally hit his opponent, try to repeat that, but too happy to have connected, he swing too hard, losing control of his mace that make a hole in the wall instead of the zombie. "Oops!" (OOC: att:4, dmg:5)

Z4 is now even deader than a zombie. Any other AoO is a moot point. Z3 remains, standing next to Keth. Ridik, upon felling the creature next to him, moves over to attack the one remaining target, but fails. Keth, however, scores a mighty blow (attack roll 26, natural 19, critical confirmed 26, 36 17 HP damage) and the last mass of flesh collapses.

Now: Ridik and Keth are standing in the foyer with the conscious but disabled ao'Thuir. Kamdar and Boog are by the doorway, with Levin, Jann and Gerald behind them in the room.

Ridik put back his mace at his belt and walk up to Ao'Thuir. "He is not the most sociable person I've seen, but he fought well. Russna, close the wounds of this warrior if you see fit"

OOC: Spontaneous Casting, swapping Command into CLW: 3 hp healed

"Thank you Ridik." ao'Thuir says still leaning back against the door frame. "That last blow took me a little unawares, guess I wasn't able to handle them all myself."

ooc: doh! I've got to get back into playing a barbarian. I have rage! next time :)
