Curse of House Thimbrall (orsal judging)

Jann, trusting in his teammates to handle the situation, does not take his eyes from Gerald all through the fight. "Do not worry, Gerald. ao'Thuir alone is enough to handle these few creatures. Now, about the other amulet and what you have in your pocket- may I examine them?"

[sblock=ooc: ]Jann continues to concentrate on his Detect Magic spell for the remainder of its duration (should be 3 rounds) unless otherwise noted[/sblock]

Kamdar moves to stay at a distance from the zombies, and sends the tricky end of his whip to wrap around the zombie's leg, barely catching him. He gives a pull, hoping the zombie drops to the ground.
[sblock=OOC]Kamdar's Touch Attack and Opposed STR (1d20+2=9, 1d20-3=13) I'm hoping a 9 is good for the touch, anyway. Need opposed check from Mr. Zombie there.

Oh, and I'm going after the one closest to me unless there are more than one, in which case I'm going after the one that has been damaged less.[/sblock]

From behind the doorway, Kamdar reaches out with the whip and lashes at Z2's legs. Opposed strength checks: 13 vs. 13.

I'll do the tiebreaking reroll for both, to save time. Kamdar's 12 vs. zombie's 20. Thr trip fails. The zombie, pulling on the whip, pulls the weapon out of the gnome's hands (zombie's 19 vs. Kamdar's 10.
Kamdar must either release the whip or follow it down to the floor.

Z3 moves in slowly, reaching the space just next to ao'Thuir on his left.

Levin meditates briefly, attempting (unsuccessfully: Concentration check 17) to focus his psionic energy.

Z4 attempts to slam ao'Thuir, also unsucessfully (attack roll 12)

Ridik slips through the doorway and behind ao'Thuir to the corner of the room. His swipe at Z4 misses too.

Keth, from behind the door, sees no more space to join the melee. So he throws one of his axes at Z2, hoping to finish the already-hacked-up zombie off, but making sure not to hit ao'Thuir or Ridik. It goes wide. (Attack roll: 2)

Z2's slam attack against ao'Thuir is more successful: attack roll 17, damage 5

Jann asks to see Gerald's stuff. Gerald tenses up. "What I am carrying is mine. Are you trying to rob me?"

Next: ao'Thuir

Code:
RA3..... R=Ridik, A=ao'Thuir
42...... 2,3,4 = zombies
........ s=stairs
........ The rest of you are in the other room behind A,
.ssssss. with Keth and Boog at the door with ranged weapons.

"Not at all, sir. We were sent to collect one specific item; my only interest is to be absolutely sure that we acquire that particular item. Seeing everything that came from this house would be the only way that we can determine which piece it is that we need. That is all."

ao'Thuir continues to rend the zombies that have flocked to him. This time his sword may have narrowly missed...

Rolls:[sblock]atk 11, dmg 19 at least I think thats a miss...[/sblock]

Yup. Ao'Thuir's swipe seems aimed well-enough, not hard given the zombie's sluggishness, but the mass of flesh does seem to offer a little resistance. Boog and Kamdar next.

Boog stepped back from the doorway to reload his crossbow.

[sblock]5' step, full round action to reload heavy crossbow. Boog will step in the direction that best clears the doorway for others.[/sblock]

Kamdar lets go of his whip and draws a weapon, raising it to the air. In a similar manner, his voice becomes louder:
"The zombie has taken my whip!
My undead friend, let me give you a tip:
If you mess with me and my group
we'll throw you in for a loop!"

Inspire Courage, everyone gets +1 to hit and to damage

Ridik try again to connect on Z4 but his attack only cut air as he almost lose feet (att:4, dmg:4) "Ok, first time I seriously use that mace... it isn't the same than in a training room. Hey, can you stop moving, you."

Seeing how easy it was to actually hit these pathetic undead, ao'Thuir spun his sword around and smashed it into the face of the same zombie.

Rolls: atk 28, dmg 13 that one (Z2) is still standing correct?
