Couldnt this have just been a I think DC20 is cool thread?
It's much cooler to disparage a game others might like, didn't you know?

Someone posted….in the D&D General thread….that D&D is the devil and needs to go (I’m paraphrasing of course). This begs the question; who’s disparaging whom? It's much cooler to disparage a game others might like, didn't you know?
i mean, i agree that wotc deserves to fail as a company and dnd 2024 deserves to fail as a product, but i'm not gonna crap on anyone who buys dnd 2024 anyway, and using that premise as a cover to shill DC20 is...i'll be nice and say "very suspicious".
Couldn't this meeting have just been an email?Couldnt this have just been a I think DC20 is cool thread?
eh, not sure I agree, I have a very different perspective on DC20, I see it as an amateur having gone overboard with houserules. I am willing to be proven wrong on that, but the KS preview material did leave that impression with me. I am more interested in what more seasoned designers can come up with, whether on a D&D basis (A5e, ToV, 13A, SotWW) or starting fresh (MCDM)From what I have seen, the DC20 system blows D&D away and is the best thing to be supporting right now.
The marketing department certainly worked hard. Can't speak for the rest.Nothing deserves to succeed.
The 2024 revision is or wont succeed because the makers worked hard on creating a product their customers will or wont bu.
That simple.
Only if you're on popular's team. While popular may be the enemy of good (or something) in a free market system…popular is the bees knees.
