D&D 3.5, Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (Full)

Beta of my character. There's a weapon in there that you need to okay. My previous DM didn't have a problem with it, and it doesn't seem to have any rule conflicts. You'll know it when you see it.

Here are some things I'm considering:
- Sun Elf Diviner
- Elf Paragon PrC from Unearthed Arcana
- Enhanced Awareness or Prescience variant for Diviners from Unearthed Arcana
- Divine Oracle PrC from Complete Divine
- Master of the Yuirwood from Unapproachable East

Basically I'm looking for synergy between diviner and divine oracle, and good Int and hp.

What do you think about 3.0 Spellcasting Prodigy?

I would love to play in this game. I DM a tabletop game in the FR every week, and play in a PbP over on rpgchat all the time. I'll send you a wizard type later today.

I'd like to participate with a dwarven paladin/fighter/Hammer of moradin (FR Players book) tank.

Or I had a concept for a radiant servant cleric who cures a lot, turns a lot, but is not very good at fighting (like a wizard)

Tell me wich one you´d like better, I'd have a sheet by tomorrow night (when I get to my books).

Lots of responses, wow. In answer to Harvey, I'm going to say max HP at first level (like always) and then 3/4 each successive level. Some exemples: If you're a rogue (d6 HD) then you'll alternate like this: 6, 4, 5, 4, 5, etc. If you're a druid (d8 HD) then it'll be 8, 6, 6, 6, etc.

SomethingFaster: I'll need to do a more in depth look at your character, but he looks like a good concept. Your crossbow... I think we may need to work some kinks out, let's talk, email or AIM.
Kaitlin: A rogue would be fine, it seems that SomethingFaster is going for a more... assassin type rogue, you might consider a skills-based rogue, sleight-of-hand, pick lock, etc.
Krug: Dwarven fighter is good. As I said before: make away!
Ferrix: Heh, I played a game with you already. Remember me? I have lots of leisure time, so this campaign won't fall away. What type of character are you planning on playing?
Harvey: Griffon rider is great, especially for any aerial battles with the dragons. There may be a problem bringing it into the lairs and a few crypts, but you can lure a lot of creatures out into the open if need be. Make away.
Silentspace: I'll look up those rules this evening. They don't sound like they're a problem. I don't have the Unapproachable East, so you'll have to brief me on that one. And what's the "Spellcasting Prodigy"? Should I have heard of that? :p It should be okay. Email or AIM, we'll talk more extensively, alright?
The Gryphon: Divine spellcaster, great. If you want a suggestion, I'd say go cleric, we don't have a real healer yet, just Harvey and his half-paladin. But druid is fine as well, or anything else you want to play, for that matter.

I'm going to have to cut it off here, sorry guys. You can be alternates, if you like, but I think 7 party members is enough. If I start another FR campaign (a definite possibility), I'll reserve some spots for you.

Darn, I was putting together a minotaur ranger/barbarian for this.

If you throw another game together, would keep me in mind?

I was thinking about going through the Assassin PrC, but two things stopped me: 1) Death Attack is melee only. 2) Spells and I don't mix. I've just never been a very strong spellcaster. My characters have always been more reliant on brute force, or attacking from the shadows. Although spells would help either of those approaches, I just don't see the assassin working out for me.

Oh, and as a side note. I notice that the DM is from Tampa. My deepest apologies, mate.

Okay, this version of Dakkon Noor is about as finished as he will be until I start delving more into his background at character introductions. If something needs to be changed, just tell me. That goes for anybody, not just the DM. I'm not arrogant enough to believe that I didn't make a single mistake in there, somewhere.
