silentspace: Good God. I'm speechless. That's... a lot to digest. I don't have the Silver Marches book, so all that Conclave stuff is a bit odd. A synopsis might help explain things. As for more XP for crafting, I'm going to have to deny you that. 55,000 should be plenty to do what you want with. Besides, I think you're just about out of slots to put your magic items. :p 30 Int? Legally? That's crazy. But legit, I guess. Thanks for all the math, I uh... like I said, it's all a bit mind boggling. I'd honestly rather not go over this with a fine tooth comb, but I will peruse it. You look like you did your homework! And I know how Ferrix feels. Try not to steal the spotlight when we play, alright? ;)

LOL, no worries. Besides, we're playing 3.5, where wizards are no longer as menacing as they used to be. They're best at controlling the battlefield and providing buffs so the melee brutes can mop everyone up. I have no problem taking a level away from Faelar, he did craft a lot of items. Besides, he doesn't have the money to craft anything else anyway. I was thinking more of if Ferrix makes a wizard or druid and wanted to scribe a few scrolls he would have to drop a level back to do so.

The Conclave of Silverymoon is a magic university set up by Lady Alustriel.

"She persuaded several formerly independent centers of lore and learning to combine into a single institution in order to share their learning more effectively and make many fields of study available to students. Lady Alustriel personally defrays the costs of housing and tuition for promising students and sponsors esoteric researches."

"The tuition is steep - 500 gp plus 500 gp per wizard level, to a maximum of 4,000 gp per year for a wizard of 7th level. Wizards of 8th level or higher are not accepted as students, but may join the college as "fellows" at a cost of 5,000 gp per year. Students (and fellows) of 5th level or higher who agree to spend half their time serving in the Spellguard pay only half the normal tuition."

"Why would anyone pay thousands of gold pieces for the privilege of attending a wizard's college? The answer is simple: Attending a wizard college provides access to many new spells..."

"First, a student or fellow attempting to learn a new spell gains a +2 bonus on her Spellcraft checks to do so, provided she makes the attempt on the college grounds."

"Second, once per quarter a student or fellow may add a spell of her choice to her spellbook for free, just like the new spells gained at each level. She must spend a total of at least 4 hours per day for at least thirty days during the quarter attending classes and studying to gain this benefit."

"Third, a student or fellow may copy spells from the college's spellbooks at any time, provided she pays a special fee equal to half the market price of a scroll of that spell. For example, a mage who wishes to copy haste from the college library may do so for a cost of 188 gp."

"Finally, a student or fellow may use the college's laboratories and libraries for creating magic items even if she does not have the appropriate item creation feat. The character must pay a special fee equal to 10% of the market price of the item she creates. The wizard must meet all other requirements of the item to be created. For example, a wizard who wanted to create a wand of lightning bolt despite the fact she does not know the Craft Wand feat could do so by using the college's resources - at a cost of 1,125 gp, 10% of the wand's normal market price."

Okay, I won't play a venerable foot tall rat who is as wise as silentspace's character is intelligent *sniff sniff* ;) If his elf was venerable, he'd have an intelligence of 33 ;)

I actually wasn't thinking too much along the lines of an evil character, although I did contemplate playing a true necromancer.

If I was going to play a druid, I'd most likely go straight druid. It's really too much of a hit if you want to stay a druid to multiclass a lot and seeing that the group is large, spreading myself thin would be pretty silly.

Hyp is short for Malhavoc's Hyperconsciousness. I don't know if I want to play one though since Silentspace will most likely dominate a great deal more in the save DC department of things with that 30 intelligence.

So many choices.

Harvey: Your Silvered Greatsword should do +5 damage (4x1.5-1).

Two-handed... right. Thanks for the fix. I more got it because it seems like recently in all my other games we've been coming across either vampires or lycanthropes, so why the heck not tag on a silvered weapon to my arsenal here...

silentspace: Alright, I approve you. Hoo boy. We're bound to find something wrong in there when we start playing, but there's nothing glaringly wrong about it. It's just... a lot of stuff.

The Gryphon: I'm not sure if I told you this already, but you're approved.

EVERYBODY: As suggested by silentspace, I'm going to add 100 XP to everybody's XP total. This is for expenditure on scribing scrolls or (theoretically, I'm not actually sure that any cost that little) a magic item creation.

The Gryphon: Point taken, request granted. You're right, silentspace got somewhere around 35k of extra goodies for a mere 3.5k XP. But he is a wizard, magic items are his game. I'm going to say take 15% off your magic stuff rather than the full 25%. It's a regional feat, so it makes sense that you'd have been using it your whole career, but that's a heck of a benefit for one stinkin' feat. I think that's fair to you and to the others.

The Gryphon and silentspace: Since I'm being so nice ( ;) ) in letting you guys have extra goodies, I (and I'm sure your co-party-members) expect you to be generous in the future, using your powers for the good of the group. A reasonable request, I think

Ferrix: I notice your sigh of exasperation. I wonder if it's sarcastic or not?
