[D&D 4e] IG's "The Witchlight Strand"

Pier and Aridha combine their magics and make quick work of the two fire-throwing orcs. Druthruss does his best to patch up Vatan, but the man is too busy swinging his weapons to be bothered with a simple thing like healing.*

Jude, however, lands a well-planned attack on the brutish orc, sending him staggering.

The fire-throwing orcs' screams finally begin to fade as the acid burns through their already stinking flesh and into their insides.

The axe-wielding orc swings furiously at Jude, but the blade sails harmlessly over his head.

The orcish caster again points his gnarled finger at Jude. The farmer can feel the curse welling up inside of him, but he quickly shakes it off and continues with his routine.

Jude takes another swing at the brutish orc, hoping to keep the enemy off balance.

Druthruss is still in a bit of a bad way and is conscious of the way he seems to be grouped with all the others in case another fire bomb should come in. Also he doesn't like the idea of shooting into melee and has no line of fire. Also Pier is still smoldering from the hit and is unprotected and that cost him dear last time on the boat. (Although the map cuts off it would not be apparent to him). So weighing the odds he goes to P6 and uses his second wind. He also stows the axe and gets out his hand cross bow again as he still believes that there is enough range in the device should a chance present itself.

Pier uses his staff to push himself to his feet, his breathing ragged. He wraps both his hands around the implement and strikes its butt firmly against the ground twice. "Klamarra taraes invocum morte cimaran echendi…" His voice grows louder as he incants, and with a final shout, he strikes the ground one last time, releasing the energy he has gathered into a narrow red beam aimed at the orc leader.

Yep, the semicolon appears to have been the issue with my die rolls; thanks!
And I guess what I took to be a door must not have been, but that's okay since there don't appear to be any more grenades coming.

(Aridha's action is kind of dependent on whether or not Jude's attack worked, since he'll be moving one possible target if it did. Would you resolve that before I post my turn?)

Seeing the way opening up to the orc caster, Vatan quickly moves to engage him. Vatan will yell out "We are here to end your rampage, ya mothaless pond scum" as he swings his longsword downward in an effort to split the casters head. His dagger also darts forth quickly in a jab at his midsection.

Vatan takes a deep breath of satisfaction as he feels the sword bite deeply into the caster. "Try casting yer filth now! Ya pox ridden motherless dog!"

Aridha backs away from the orc, deciding not to engage in tooth-to-axe combat at the moment. Instead she calls on the elements; the spirits of the sky, for aid.

The sky answers her call. A silver-blue lance of lightning cracks down and spears the orc neatly, arcing and spitting as it courses through him and into the earth. It becomes clear that if he doesn't get out of there, the lightning will hurt even more as it runs its course.

(Shift to J6 and Storm Spike on B1! 19 to hit, for 5 damage...he suffers another 4 damage if he doesn't move at least 2 squares on his turn.)

I forgot something

[sblock=IG]

I keep on forgetting about Combat Challenge. Would it be too much of a prob to say that Vatan Marked the caster (W1) after his attack connected on him?
