The RP section of last weeks game has been posted....only the combat portion remains.
Mardok's "Kinslayer" past will be catching up to him soon.
Quinn's "Avataresque" destiny will begin unfold shortly.
Shaster's mysterious origins will be his guide to the future.
Gorshak will discover the true meaning of his paladinhood.
As for Travis....Well, I think all he needs another drink.
I will begin to "scribe" the second half of the session tonight and will post tomorrow at about dinner hour.
Winterhaven stands poised on a razor's edge and evil gathers unseen in the night.
Will "The Heros of Winterhaven", as they are now known, be able to stem the dark tides that threaten to destroy all that is peaceful and just?
You will have to visit the game thread to find out!

I believe we have a bit of a conflict brewing.
Z will only be able to play "later" on fridays than at the current time and G is ready to drop the game if a day other than friday is chosen.
Best way to decide is the 2 remaining players to weigh in with their opinions on the matter.
I personally am open to any resolution....I have no preferences and can accomodate most any schedule change (or lack or change as the case may be)

I can schedule my game just about any way I need to. Friday evenings are supposed to be "date night " with my wife, but I can make that Saturday nite if needed.

That said, If Z wants to start later, it needs to be run past FusionCell who is in the "latest" time zone and will be most affected and by the DM who ultimately must be ok with this.

Personally, I would hate to see this game get screwed up by a scheduling conflict. Things are really starting to get fun. I see all sorts of rp stuff going on between the normally stiff and traditional Quinn and the irrepressibly wild and ferocious Mardok. That battle last week was just a taste of the crunchy goodness to come! I threw a bit of humor into my IC posting this week to lighten up Quinn a bit, but am really looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

I know we have some gelling to do as a group, but that's normal. I like how things are going. Not everyone plays how I would, but thats what a group game is all about. So let's not waste a good thing and get these issues settled and move on.

Z - Why dont you post your ideal game time and lets see if everyone else can get on board with that. I'm sure we can figure something out.

I agree with Ftr....Fusion has to have a say...but that said...it was a confusing situation just to arrive at the day and time we play at now.
I can't see Cell wanting to change the timing much...it was a tight squeeze just to manage friday....but he will have to give his opinion before any decision can be made.

I agree. I do not want to screw things up for Fusion cell either.

As I see it, Fusion Cell and Zambatuo are the two special case players. Fusion Cell is in the British timezone, and Zambatuo's availability is Thursday and Friday. Ordinarily I would be stunned that they could manage to work within the same gaming group given the logistical issues involved. However, it turns out Friday afternoon worked out for all concerned.

I expect that myself, Ftr, and Eryiedes are able to play a game that runs on the days that I expect I could be available (Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday pacific time zone).

For me continue to play in this game, I would either need to play on Saturday / Sunday (which :):):):)s things up for Zambatuo, and if it were Sunday, probably Fusion Cell), or I would need to play later in the evening in the pacific time zone (which absolutely screws up Fusion cell unless he wants to develop an amphetimine habit to get past that pesky need for sleep).

I expect I am going to be the odd man out in this instance, since it is also very likely that me moving is going to screw up my ability to have internet access for a while. Unless I figure out a way to have my desktop PC travel with me directly, I will be limited to a rather weak laptop that is probably only barely able to run maptools, (though I wont know that until I try).

My suggested course of action is for everyone to continue on as normally as possible, and expect me to at the very least miss a few games. Once I am at least somewhat settled in Vancouver, we can try to work out the specifics on whether or not it is possible for me to remain a part of this particular game.

While I have to enthusiastically congratulate you if moving means a better lifestyle for you, I hate that this will screw up your game contributions. I was really getting into the Mardok-Quinn-anti-but-I-still-admire-you-vibe that was building. I was waiting for a boss battle so I could buff you ridiculously and watch you go off like a battlebot on crack! Imagine all that offense with =2 AC and 5 damage resistance! And just wait till I can pick up Astral Condemnation! It'll be like take out ass whooping.

Well, get settled in and then we can work out how to make it happen. For now, let's just call it a temporary hiatus rather than a drop out.

Best wishes for the move (from someone who has had amazing bad luck with moving companies),

Jim

The improvement in lifestyle is quite substantial.

Present: Unemployed and looking for work since July 2009, not sure how much longer Ei will hold out.

Very near Future: Being paid 'cash money' for services rendered and having a chance to live and work in a city I have wanted to be in for a long time.

I also hate that it will :):):):) with what has been an entertaining game. However, I must say that the only reason I was able to play in a Friday afternoon game was due to being unemployed.
