OOC: I think Brue should be at 10 hp. I think in Round 3 you had her at 10 hp, but she should maybe have been at 8 hp And then she used Second Wind to regain 13 hp, which put her at 21 hp. And then this round she suffered -11 hp, leaving her at 10 hp? Also, it's not immediately clear to me that disadvantage was applied to the trogs' attack rolls for the round that Brue dodged.

OOC: You're correct in that Brue should have had 8 HP after the troglodytes attacked in Round 3. My math was bad, I was going off memory since you can't see the rolls in the post thread. She then used Second Wind which would have restored 7 HP. It looks like you rolled it twice for some reason. First generating a 7 (Post #362), then generating a 6 (Post #363). Only the first would apply though, based on how Second Wind works (1d10+Fighter Level). As far as the rolls in Round 2, I only posted the rolls after disadvantage was applied rather than all twelve rolls. I even mentioned that dodging reduced the number of times Brue was hit from five to one. Here are the rolls if you want to check: http://orokos.com/roll/317268 The only pair that hit was the 18/17. Brue is at 4 HP, I went ahead and updated everything above.

Brue body-checked the troglodyte against the stone wall. Reversing the grip of her sword, she drove it backwards about a foot underneath her armpit, skewering the creature like a lizard on a spit. Kicking a few times, the creature slid down the wall leaving a black blood smear.

Everything was momentarily quiet. There appeared to be no other enemies near the outcropping.

OOC: Combat is over, congrats!

[section] Brue heaved a sigh of relief. She wasn't accustomed to fighting solo and found it taxing. She bent down to examine the two dead or dying troglodytes; if one was still alive, she'd do her duty and finish it. In the meantime, the genasi searched both troglodytes for clues and belongings. [/section]

Brue inspected the body of the final troglodyte she had fought to determine if it was still alive. She didn't bother with the first; if it could survive having its head cut off, she was already dead. Not particularly familiar with troglodyte anatomy, she was still fairly confident that the creature was dead, given the amount of blood and ichor. The stench of the creatures still permeated the area, but that didn't surprise her. The troglodytes had no clothing or harnesses to carry their possessions. If they had any, they weren't on their persons.

Now that she had a chance to look closer in the area of the wall, she found a few heaps of fish bones, likely the remnants of troglodyte meals.

OOC: Perception check, please

At the base of the wall, Brue spotted what she initially took for the femur of some kind of humanoid. On closer inspection, she realized it was a bone scroll tube of some sort. Inspecting it, the genasi noted that the end cap had been removed and a scroll had been haphazardly rolled up and shoved into the tube.

Additionally, she noted that one of the piles of fish bones seemed rather concave.

[section] Brue picked up the bone scroll tube. She pulled out the scroll carefully, aware that if it was old it might crumble, and tried to identify what was written on it. After a minute, she recoiled the scroll and replaced it in the tube, which she stored in her pocket. She used her foot to brush away the concave bits of fish bones. She was mindful that time was pressing, but this was the first set of overt clues she'd encountered down here.[/section]

Gingerly unrolling the scroll, Brue could immediately tell it was written in a language she couldn't understand. Sharp and angular, almost looking like the frenzied scratching of a wild animal, but with at least a semblance of form and order to it. Gently, she rolled it back up and placed it back in the scroll case. Securing the scroll case in her backpack, she toed the pile of concave fish bones, wondering about the odd formation. Scattering bones with the toe of her boot, the genasi spotted a pouch that had been inexpertly hidden under the heap of bones in an eroded hole. Pulling it out, she examined the contents and discovered five cut sapphire gemstones.

OOC: Brue estimates the gemstones are worth 20GP each
