D&D 5E D&D 5th Edition Stinks!

I can NOT believe that this thread actually made me walk all the way across the room, pick up my DMG, crack it open, for no other reason than to stick my face deep into the binding... And sniff.

Would rather have a stinky book than one that's no longer a book...my Player's Handbook is a hardcover folder with 320 loose pages between it now. :(
 

Mine too doctorhook. Hate to say it, but if the MM and DMG hold up no better, they won't get another dime out of me. I still have 3.0 books that have been put through the ringer and aren't missing a single page. Though I love the content, the quality of the book itself is abysmal.

I tend to always open my books and hold them in a slight V shape, so as not to put stress on the binding. I own 3 PH's from day one. No problems so far.

Not to say that there wasn't an issue with the PH binding. I really don't know.

But even more importantly. How do those loose pages S M E L L? :D
