They made all the kids too competent. That is one of the issues.. I don't buy any of them as level 7 - especially Hank who would not have gotten spells. But you have to explain how they survived somehow.. and credit them for doing so I guess. DM caveat is not something you can work into a character. You should see all the other items they have that I didn't list - they kitted them out like average 7th level characters and in some cases their gear could easily overshadow their special weapons.
This sounds like I'm complaining, I don't mean to - I just see potential here and wish they had done more, though I'm pleased they did what they did - I think i might run the adventure as a one shot soon.
As for Requiem - Well they have a really cheesy radio play with far too much announcer interjection. Its clear the producers don't quite know how to do a good radio teleplay. That said it was nice to hear the dialog spoken. I wish some animation college would ask for permission to produce that script for the senior class project.. it'd be great to actually see it animated though I suppose that is unlikely.. hmm if i ever go that route with my studies I may just suggest it
I really wish Hasbro would do something like this for the direct to video market.. it'd be nice to have a gateway product to replicate the cartoon that caught and held my love of the game and its concepts. My kids watched a few episodes with me last night and were enjoying it a lot.
