D&D Character vs Pop Culture Character

So just for fun I've decided to make a (possibly ongoing) poll match up of famous D&D characters vrs similar famous pop-culture characters. Tell me who you think wins!

First up:

Drizzt Do'Urden vrs Angel

Both mopey ultra powerful misunderstood good versions of their evil kin each one took sulking to a new level, and probably inspired countless nerds everywhere who couldn't find true love, or feel accepted by all but a select few.

I went with Drizzt. Because as powerful and immortal and yadda yadda yadda as Angel the Vampire is, he is ultimately a Joss Whedon character, and therefore prone to unexpected dramatic deaths.

Drizz't, as the penultimate Mary Sue Drow, is not. He's an emo boy, but he's also a D&D character, and that means ass kicking.

Angel would put up a good fight, but I'd go with Drizz't by Round 3 KO.

Drizzt, well he had magic doodads and armour and is a high level D&D character. Angel may have a plain broadsword if he is lucky. So Drizzt to win.

As much as I hate to say it - logically speaking, Drizzt wins, and it's not even close. Drizzt is *gag* a fighter of legendary skill, whereas Angel is just a big tough vampire in the Buffy universe, where even Xander has managed to take down the odd vampire or two.

In a "who can swich sides more often and still be a good guy in the end" contest: Angel

I think Angel has the edge

In Baldur's Gate 2, Drizzt was a tougher fight than Bodhi, the most powerful vampire in the game. Based on those scientific findings, Drizzt wins.

That said, I had the recruit Valen as a PC hack, and she was scary broken...
