D&D Clue

I just saw a D&D version of Clue for sale in a campus bookstore aimed at freshmen (and owned by Barnes & Noble). I think I'm going to be compelled to buy it even though it's not a game I play frequently . . . And I think (without first seeing it) it's a good marketing gimmick.

Does anyone know what Hasbro's plans are for this? Are they expecting any non-RPG customers to pick it up and think "Hm, this is interesting"? For that matter, does B&N really think that a lot of freshmen college kids will buy it?

If this has already been discussed, forgive me for not wanting to look through 30+ pages of back threads. :)

I've only seen that game in WotC stores (not featured in any special way and piled with other "party" games like Taboo and what not) and in the occasional toy store (not that I go to toy stores, often :D)

As to what the grand marketing plan in for it? I can not say... I would just imagine that they made it, put it out there, and put it in with the rest of the board games not giving it any special promotion of niche to fill.
