D&D Experience: Anyone else going?

Thats right get picts of the sheets or any handout or instructions. In this day of high quallity digital pictures there is no escuse. Hell if people can get the quick start rules we may be able to cobble together a rough basic rules so those of us who cant get there can try it out. So good luck to the many jr 007s out there!

I will be there Saturday and signed up for all three slots of 4th Edition. I will have my digital Camera and if allowed I will take pictures of the character sheets.... :)

I will be wearing a t-shirt that states 'It's all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack.'

Should we do ENWorld Name Badges? (Like the cool kids get at GenCon?)

(Note the bolding however. If they ask us not to do so I will not do so.

Having Enworld badges on is just fine as long as they are tasteful. Normal convention rules and common sense apply here. The mini's guys do the same thing with their forum names to help put faces to names.

I'm going as well, and I'm playing 4E (Living Forgotten Realms) in the first two slots on Thursday. I'll have a digital camera and maybe even a video camera if I can swing it. I don't have a laptop though so unless I discover some easy way to upload pictures at DDXP then I won't have anything on the internet until after the con is over. I'll try to post something though if I can.

We just found out yesterday that our press passes for Critical-Hits.com were a go, so we'll be there covering the show, doing interviews, etc., and HOPEFULLY getting a chance to play. If we can swing Wi-Fi there, or if one of us can get our smartphones to work some magic, we'll be posting while we're there.

I'll be there the length of the show. I'll be running the 4e Delve and the 4e Preview Adventures, and taking part in as many of the seminars as I can fit in (either as an audience member or a participant). I'm hoping I can squeeze some time between games, meetings, and seminars to get a look at the preview of the online tools.

If you guys want to play then please contact me offlist as I can make that happen (I believe you can contact me through this message board but if not my email is all over the RPGA pages on the wizards.com site).

As to wi-fi the only thing you might get to work in the convention space is the hotels wi-fi. The convention space was originally their underground parking deck. They remodeled it all so it looks really nice now but it's still underground and surrounded by think re-bar concrete. I've not gotten a phone or wi-fi to work in there for years now.

I'll be there from Thursday through Sunday, staying at the hotel with two other players. I'm in the two LFR preview on Thursday, and will be playing LG mods the remainder of the weekend in between Delving and checking out the exhibits, lectures, etc.

This is, in all likelihood, my last RPGA convention as a player... if I'm sold on 4E I will be running it at future conventions as a full-time DM (plus slot zeroes).
