Just to clarify:

If I am not a RPGA member and don't intend to become one:

can I still play in 4thed preview games?

You must be an RPGA member to play in any RPGA game. The 4th edition preview events are also preview events for the new Living Forgotten Realms Campaign which will kickoff at Gencon Indy next summer.

So you have to fill out a card and get a number. If not being a member is that strong of an issue with you then no you cannot play in the 4th edition preview events.

Dave, I think this is a little unclear.
You need to pay for the event and show up, then fill out the handy-dandy form AT THE FIRST GAME. to Become a member at the the time of playing.

You don't need to be a member before hand.

I AM NOT OFFICIAL IN ANY WAY.

Yes. Membership is free. We will have membership cards onsite. They take a minute or two tops to fill out. You just need to do so before your first game. You can even do it at the table before you start it takes that little time.

RPGA membeship is about as painless as possible. We'll even loan you a pen to fill it out. Membeship is lifetime and you can track all of your playing and judging online.

Really? I got an e-mail the other day, saying that my RPGA membership is about to expire due to inactivity.

BTW, with two jobs and six players who all hold at least one job, there is no way in hell I can register a game two weeks in advance. That's why I don't bother with the RPGA anymore.

ya that was a database system error. Something is posted on it somewhere. Everybody got it (even I did and I'm kinda active a little)

Also the two weeks is now down to 5 days for games played at home. We hope to reduce that even furthur with some database updates.

Are tickets for the 30 minute 4e Dungeon Delve being presold? Or do you just show up and wait in line? There doesn't appear to be any option to select to get in...

I believe the delve is first come first served so you would just join a table as space is available.
