If it feels like people aren't taking your thread seriously, one of the reasons is because you are using the thread to declare your superiority over those who disagree with you. Whether it's suggesting the "you haven't been playing D&D for long" or "it's folks like you that are killing D&D" or (my personal favourite), "It's cool though, because I'm the one that'll have the last laugh..." All this does is take the focus away from your purported message in favour of "I, Razz, am so much cooler and smarter than the rest of you."
