Basically those "behind the curtain" sidebars writ large, on other words? Because that'd be very cool!

I would love such a product, but it feels like we're really too far away to get more than we already have on that front.

To be fair, I suspect that if a lot of the articles that were published on WotC's website during the run of 3E were collected, edited to flow more naturally, and released, it would look a lot like such a book. I still get a kick out of the insights in Andy Collins' "Big Six" magic items article, for instance.
