Yeah, Mike went from GW to WoTC (Chianmail) then over to privateer. One of the main sculpters and I belive he did a bunch of the painting (but don't quote).

Why, cause they fill the same roll as counters, but are least 3-D.

This is precisely why I'll be buying a few packs too. If I want a specific miniature for an important character or monster, then I'll go buy a metal mini and paint it. But I'll buy the pre-painted plastics to quickly and cheaply fill in the ranks of the mooks.

Nice to hear about the non-randomised sets (not that I'm that worried about random ones) maybe WotC have been listening !

I'll be picking up a few random ones to check them out but the Orc War party sounds like it may be a must-buy.
The other one I may get for the owlbear if I dont get one in the random sets - never ever used one of them as a DM, might be a good excuse...

I was pretty sure they'd do some non-randomized packs. Nice to see confirmation of that. And I like that Archfiend thingy...give me an Asmodeus!!!
