No PDFs on DDB. Someone made a plugin to convert the content to PDF.Eh. I just wanted PDFs. I probably would have paid for access on DnDBeyond too.

Neither does it mean they get to dance naked around a burning pile of Star Wars t-shirts.But just because a person can play those games doesn't mean ipso facto they get to play ALL games the same way.
Free League? I buy their books. They are not cheap.Free League has left the chat.
This is wisdom. It's a work in progress, but I'm learning to find less sadness and anger in what I don't like about the hobby, and trying to be more positive about the games and experiences I do enjoy.
It was a comment on the country they were published in.Free League? I buy their books. They are not cheap.
Then why aren't you happy just playing those? Rather than getting upset about Dungeons & Dragons?
You don't HAVE to play Dungeons & Dragons you know. Or even think about Dungeons & Dragons. Or worry about the people who make Dungeons & Dragons. You can just go live in whatever non-Capitalist country wish and play those games all you like.
Seems to me to be a big waste of time worrying about Capitalism if you are able to work, play and live without it.
Ok, yet they are not a socialist company and neither is the country although they are farther down that route. I guarantee that the staff at Free League get paid for the work they produce and they are one of the more expensive publishers. It was a comment on the country they were published in.
It may not be the system we want but it is the system we have. The 10 of you who keep making this argument are not going to change the world. Good luck though. It will never not be sad to see so many praising a corp for their capitalism.
Explains a lot of the world actually.
That's what I've been doing since I became disinterested in 5E. But I fear that their methods might spread and affect these other games that I'm enjoying. A decade ago, everyone called Electronic Arts crazy for having DLCs (downloadable content, paid) on the day of release. And now it's a standard. So while I don't like the direction of WotC or the revision, I'm tired of giving them the power to make me a grumpy person. I'll just get excited about Dragonbane or Fabula Ultima or Call of Cthulhu or Soulbound, etc.
What?!? The workers are fairly and adequately paid?!? Ain't nothing more socialist than that...I guarantee that the staff at Free League get paid for the work they produce and they are one of the more expensive publishers.
