Wow! Glad to see you again! I always wished Estelle had hung around. Really enjoyed Aohdan and Estelle's RP at the campfire that one night.

She was indeed an interesting character, and I was excited to see how her emotional and physical transformation progressed. I am doubly excited to see that this game is still around, as it was one of the best.

It is indeed. Due mainly, methinks, to the astounding group of players we've assembled and held onto for more than 18 months so far, with a couple of new additions along the way. :D

Hah, I know you are. BTW, that was a nice line:
"...humor evaporates suddenly like a drop of water in a blacksmith's forge"
Well, done! Yours, or borrowed?

all mine, but i am inspired by players such as Trouvere in this post who plays a bard in the living enworld thread called 'A rather odd shovel'

me, me, me! I am one of those 'new additions'

Estelle totally would've demolished Muzdum, unless of course he landed a blow with his warhammer.

I just finished reading the 51 pages of the first go-round. I liked how she and William were written off, going to the Necropolis and all that it entailed. Poor William, though, I feel bad for him.

As it stands I want to read through your current game, get a feel for it and how Estelle would fit in, if she could at all, since I'm assuming she didn't escape without at least testing the power of the darkside.

Perhaps the two of them need togo to the duelling circles for a fistacuffs? Renaldo would officiate for you two.

[sblock=DM Monkey's evil plan for Estelle...ethandrew read, others read at your own risk]Estelle went in search of her father at the Necropolis. That much we know. She told William to vamoose out of a concern for his spiritual well-being...she knew he was vulnerable and sent him away for his own good.

Several months have passed since then. Game mechanically speaking, Estelle will have gained 3rd level and completed her transition into half-vampire.

While in the Necropolis, she fell in with the mortal followers of Thanyx, known as Reavers. She witnessed the departure of the undead army, on its way into the orcish steppes. Of more importance to her, however, was the half-elf she met among the Reavers, an enigmatic and handsome fellow who tempted her into fully embracing her vampric heritage.

Whether she did or not is up to you, but during that dark journey, she learned that her father was destroyed shortly after she was born and that he was in Thanyx's inner circle. The enigmatic half-elf, whose name she never learned, regardless of whether she embraced his temptations, arranged a meeting between her and Thanyx.

Thanyx, the Lord of Death, a half black dragon/half-orc, told Estelle that her father was a small part of the manipulations of the Piper. Piper, one of the first Ten deities, like Thanyx himself, was himself a half-elf...Thanyx even hinted that Estelle's mysterious benefactor may have been Piper. Thanyx revealed that Estelle's creation was no accident...Piper believed that a creature that walked the line between life and death could potentially be immune to the soul-draining ability of both shadowstone and of the Dagger of Souls, the murder weapon of Johen's mentor.

With that information, Estelle has been given a choice...pursue her own existence or find the Dagger, for good or for ill. In her hands, the Dagger could be used to finally imprison Azilyk, the Serpent Queen. It could also be used to unleash Azilyk's full power on the world.

Will she ever meet the mysterious half-elf again? What path will she choose? Darkness or Light? Redemption or Corruption?

Only one way to find out. ;)[/sblock]

Balls. That's a mighty sticky situation she's gotten herself into. I'm leaning toward involvement again, but not just yet. I can only access this at work and it's a no-no for me to be on here. I'm just sneaky and rebellious, all wrapped into one.
