No, my mistake. The sighted ability is noted in the stat black you linked to, I just missed it. I hadn't run across that ability before.


--- THE WHITE ROOM ---

The psicrystal manifests those little ecotoplasmic legs that freak Michael out so much, and scuttles through the broken iron bound door and into the darkness.

--- DOWN BELOW ---

After about ten minutes it has negotiated the stairs, climbed through the pit and reached the room at the far end of the passage. The hallway opens up here into a circular chamber. In the center of the room is a fountain, dominating the center of the room. The psicrystal moves slowly around the room, taking in the details. The ceiling above is domed, and frescoes, similar to those in the room in which Ironwolf waits, decorate both it and the walls. The psicrystal climbes carefully up the fountain to discover a small figure of a comely looking man pouring water out of an Urn around a group of eager children. It is howver, dry and silent. A single iron door on the far side of the room is the only other visible exit.

OK. Thats pretty much it for this room. There are two other passages leading off from the pit. Where do you want the psicrystal to go next?

The psicrystal will follow a "left hand rule" search pattern. Simplest way to describe it is imagine placing your hand on the wall to the left and always going through each doorway as you come to it. This will eventually lead to every part of a two-dimensional maze, and if you want to go back the way you came from you can switch to a "right hand rule" to retrace your steps. Unfortunately, the crystal probably can't open doors...

The psicrystal traces its steps back to the pit and after carefully negotiating it once more, heads left. Its left, which means it takes the right hand passage as the characters know it.

The crystal has gone barely five feet when it comes to a series of arches reminiscent of those leading off from the white room; those arches lead to alcoves occupied by the zombies. There are 4 arches, two on each side of the passageway. The far end of the passageway terminates in a dead end.

Want it to continue and see what is beyond the arches?
 

"My psicrystal says there are a series of arches and alcoves down there beyond the pit that resembles the room in which we fought the zombies. Chances are the room is occupied, so I should probably recall it... unless you want it to hang out and watch the place to see if anything moves. What do you all think?"
 

"If the evil is gone, we should be on our way. I'd hoped to hear news from travelers or refugees. Why have there been none of those?"
 

"As you wish, if we don't intend to explore here any further for the time being, I'll recall the crystal."

Unless someone objects, Ironwolf relays the command.
