OoC: I'm of the opinion that the 1-pp Cognizance Crystal isn't a bad addition. Essentially a free 1-st level power every other day.

(OOC: Meh--most 1st-level powers are only good at higher levels when you augment them up, so unless you pick certain powers, it looks pretty impotent. It's a consequence of the scaling, unfortunately.)

Zaeryl was aware of three soldiers, but only guessed that a camp might be nearby.

OoC: Since he didn't make the listen check, Zaeryl wouldn't know to ask this question (aside from a lucky guess).

OoC: At this point, I understand that Hulgyr, Ironwolf, Almace, Eternity and almost certainly Zaeryl are starting to march toward the trio of soldiers who have Ironwolf's psicrystal under a cloak. Anything else I should be aware of before the 5 of you emerge from the clearing in full sight of the soldiers? It looks like Michael is going, too, should I make it 6?

OoC: It might mean they have a camp there. Or this might be just a checkpoint.

(OOC: Right--the soldiers' camp would be somewhere in view of the barricade, I expect. Hence Zaeryl doesn't know how close it will be--too close and we could be in big trouble. I'm probably missing something by Zaeryl failing all the checks, though )
