D1: Ashin's Commission (El Jefe judging)

Once mounted, Eternity maneuvers Kailie around and off in the direction of Zaeryl and the fleeing soldier. Her priority is stopping the soldier from alerting his camp to their presence.

The Stonepike Mountains

Round 10 - Zaeryl up[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr, Eternity, Almayce: ]Huffing and puffing as he went, Michael raced over to the demon-horse.

OoC: Ouch. You need more muscle or lighter armor. A single move put you a 5' step from the horse, so I gave Michael a double move this turn. Next turn, he can mount for a move action and ride for a move action.

IC: Hulgyr had just mounted and was adjusting his weight in the saddle, ready to ride, when Michael grasped the reins to his own horse.

(No action needed from Eternity just yet, I need to see what Zaeryl does first)[/sblock][sblock=Ironwolf: ]Stumbling through the forest, "Private Kneeler" over one shoulder and a javelin in the opposite hand, Ironwolf came across Zaeryl dragging the limp form of..."Private Squatter?"...across the ground.

OoC: Took you a double move to get there...[/sblock][sblock=Zaeryl: ]Zaeryl stopped for a moment to give the unconscious soldier a good punch just to ensure he didn't wake up anytime soon, when he was startled to see an immense form lumbering out of the forest at him. It seemed to be Ironwolf, or perhaps a giant illusion of him. Whatever it was, it stood fully 10 feet tall, carried a Fallonese soldier over one shoulder like a small child, and carried a monstrously oversized javelin in the other.

OoC: Want to modify your actions? :) [/sblock]Zaeryl 8

"Thankfully, this is the last one," Zaeryl tells the enlarged Ironwolf, "While the others were all mollycoddling the other one we knocked out, we chased this one who almost fled and warned the army...though actually he yelled so loud that we expect they may have been warned regardless. Now we need to speak with the greater threat to our safety during that last battle...the cleric."

*Zaeryl heads back towards the group in the woods.*

The Stonepike Mountains

Round 10 - Almayce up[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr, Eternity, Almayce: ]- Michael just got to his horse
- Hulgyr got on his horse and got ready to ride

Eternity rode off into the forest, in search of Zaeryl.[sblock=Eternity: ]Eternity rode out of sight of her companions. She hadn't gotten far when she came across the form of Zaeryl, apparently dragging one of the soldiers...Private Squatter?...through the forest.[/sblock]Almayce 1[/sblock][sblock=Ironwolf: ]- Ironwolf found his buddy Zaeryl in the forest, dragging a soldier off to bed

Ironwolf stood dumbfounded for a moment as his cohort disappeared into the forest, still dragging the soldier toward the party's horses and Kinthriver.

OoC: A double move for Zaeryl takes him just out of Ironwolf's vision, but he'd have no trouble following next turn.[/sblock][sblock=Zaeryl: ]- Zaeryl found his buddy Ironwolf in the forest, carrying a soldier off to bed

After exchanging pleasantries with his newly enlarged compatriot, Zaeryl continued to drag Private Squatter away from his camp. He soon heard approaching hooves, and beheld the figure of Eternity, mounted upon Kailie.

OoC: I gave you a double move instead of a punch, which moved you out of visual range of Ironwolf. He can easily follow you next turn. You are adjacent to Eternity. If you'd have preferred a single move instead, you'd still be within sight of Eternity.[/sblock]Almayce 1

"Let's stick together, Zaeryl. Getting seperated like this in enemy territory is unwise, and we've each got a prisoner to deal with."

*Zaeryl nods and motions for Ironwolf to follow him to Eternity.*

(OOC: Looking good El Jefe :) Oh, and it is worth noting that his thump was with the club and not his fist in case it matters)

Ooc

I think it will: the club's lethal and your punch is non-lethal, unless you've done something dramatic with either your fist or your club.
More lethal damage after he went down probably started him bleeding out. Dragging him head down over the ground isn't going to help much either.

That may not be obvious, however.

OoC: Well, now I'm confused. Per post 753, I assumed no thump and a double move, and left the option in post 754 for RA to correct that to a thump and a single move. I thought he took the no thump and double move option in post 756.

"Oh you cought him, good." says Eternity dismounting as she approaches. "Here let me take a look." she'll use her Heal skill to determine if he is stable and alive.
