D1: Ashin's Commission (El Jefe judging)

Ironwolf will sheath his falchion, which he was unable to wield while carrying the soldier anyway. As he moves forward, he draws a javelin, hoping to at least see an opponent soon.

And here's hoping Michael and Zaeryl aren't killing each other...

Round 9 - Eternity up.[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr, Eternity, Almayce: ]- Michael and Hulgyr decided to go for a horsey ride, too, and ran to their horses.[/sblock][sblock=Ironwolf: ]- Ironwolf traded his falchion for a javelin and continued to chase after the source of the noise
- The noise resumed. It was something moving through the forest, but much slower, and back in the direction of Kinthriver and the horses.[/sblock][sblock=Zaeryl: ]OoC: I don't know if this is overly generous, but I'm allowing Zaeryl to drag the soldier at regular movement rate (and depending on how you figure it, Zaeryl dragging the soldier should be at either Medium or Heavy encumberance). Either way, that means you move 20. So, let's say a move action to "pick up" (actually, prepare for movement) the soldier and a second move action to drag him off - that's 20' of movement this turn. Next turn, you can double move for 40'. And no, you can't have a club out when doing this...it take two hands to handle a soldier. (Sung to the tune of the old Burger King jingle)[/sblock]Eternity 8

Round 9 - Almayce up[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr, Eternity, Almayce: ]- Michael and Hulgyr decided to go for a horsey ride, too, and ran to their horses.

Eternity mounted Kallie and made ready to ride.

OoC: Sorry, but you were 5' from the horse at the beginning of the turn. We can call it a 5' step if you'd like, plus a move action to mount, leaving you with a standard action that you'd probably not take since you couldn't move. Otherwise, it's a move action to go the measley 5', plus a move action to mount = end of turn.[/sblock][sblock=Ironwolf: ]- Ironwolf traded his falchion for a javelin and continued to chase after the source of the noise
- The noise resumed. It was something moving through the forest, but much slower, and back in the direction of Kinthriver and the horses.

No change for Ironwolf.[/sblock][sblock=Zaeryl: ]- Zaeryl decided to drag his new friend off to bed.

No change for Zaeryl.[/sblock]Almayce 1

OoC: According to Skip Williams on the WotC site, "So, for example, if you and your mount move, neither you nor your mount can take a 5-foot step during the same turn." So, that would be a move action to mount, a move action for you and the horse to move, and...a 5' step, which isn't allowed.

(OOC: I know. I'm not doing anything different than before (you used the term 'pick up' earlier for starting to drag). Just letting you know that thump is a crucial step that should not be skipped, even if it prevents moving this round)
