DiamondB, since you are going the d20 Modern route, let me again reiterate this; find the Polyhedron with the Iron Lords of Jupiter. Although it is a planetary romance setting, it has some of the best classes that can be converted to a fantasy.

Yeah I've got it, been a Dungeon subscriber for nearly 10 years now. Thanks for reminding me though, most of the time I read through the magazines and then shelf them.
 



I have not used "Classicly Modern" but it looks very well done. I am thinking or running a campaign along lines similar to what you describe. You should really check it out. Also, tale a look at rules hosted on my website for Nausicaa Valley of the Wind, a fantasy, sci-fi manga tale.
