[d20 Future/OOC] The Long Sleep

Anyway, I suppose I have enough to give the basic outline of my stats too, though I was going to wait for others to post so I could see what format they were using. I usually focus on getting the defining information when I make a character rather than the derivative information.

Which brings me to the question: Max hit points, average or rolled?

I've flushed out most of Lem save equipment above. Can also provide a format for Kaodi, if you wish.

Rhun: I've taken Coordinate for my Charismatic Talent, FYI.

So... assuming we roll all HPs, and not 1st level max, that gives me: 3+4+4 HPs, and 5+4+1+1 Wealth, correct? Well, assuming that Earth wealth is relevant...
You still get max at 1st.

And, I think it is assumed we brought equipment w/ us before the sleep.

Equipment question:

I just got horked by Invisible Castle for Wealth. My wealth bonus is therefore...+3.

What equipment do I get "free" from the Air Force...and what do I have to buy for myself? :)

Starhawk Space Superiority Fighter

Starhawk (PL 6)
A prototype space superiority fighter (since humanity never fought in space). Four starhawks came with each colony-ship in case there was a problem that needed some agressive negotiation. The rest were fitted with nuclear missiles and sent to meet Apophis.

Well, nothing from the Air Force. But if it's called for (ie. Important for your mission) it will be provided. Depending on the nature of the mission this could be armour and a gun, or a soil analyizer for a research expedition. Basically, buy what you can, but don't worry too much. The benefit of buying your own gear is that you'll likely have something of higher quality than what is provided.

Hee...a wealth of +3 can't really buy much of anything. Even her clothes are from the bargain stores. But it turned out kinda cool, because that completely shaped my concept of her background. Turned her into a kid from a broken home, fighting and struggling for a spot in the air force. She's stubborn; a scrapper who never, ever lets go of what she wants... All that, just from a lousy die roll. :) Here's the sheet so far.

Background:
Ash joined the air force for two overriding reasons. One was a love of flying and aircraft...the other was an urgent need to escape her home environment, which had always been bad and taken a turn for the worse. She attacked school and most especially the ROTC program in school with the vigor of someone who is clawing her way out of a corner. She studied the military, airplanes, and aviation in general...knowing that with no connections, she had only her performance in extracurricular activities and entrance examinations to get her the coveted officer status needed to train as a pilot. Her natural skills and sheer stubbornness got her top of her class, and high placements in the exams...she had her wish.

Ash's initial goal was to serve a term or two...depending on how the first one went...and then muster out for a career as a civilian pilot. It seemed like the ideal job. Travel all over, see different places but never settle down... It was good, as dreams went, but reality stepped in with a mighty big wakeup call named, 'Apophis.'

Ashley was one of the pilots who had actually been trained to fly the new "Starhawk" space-capable fighters. Since all such fighters were either assigned to a colony ship, or to attempt to shatter the incoming asteroid, it was basically luck of the draw. Ash was assigned to the HCMS Hope. The days before hibernation were unexpectedly hard for her, as even though she'd struggled to sever her ties to past and family; the prospect of leaving them to be destroyed was one that haunted her.[/sblock]

As a member of the armed forces, should I still pay for a Military license for my equipment, or just by it at normal cost?
