d20 Modern Versions of Fantasy Classes

I am working on rules for my campaign. I am really impressed with the d20 Modern mechanics. Has anyone written variants of the Player's Handbook classes based on d20 Modern. I am going to use the two SRDs to put together my own but if someone has done some of them I would like to use them or evaluate them as a basis for what I plan to do.

Here are the variants I plan to develop. Some classes will have multiple variants as seen below which will affect their spell progression or defense bonus progression, starting feats, etc.

D20 Modern:
Charismatic: Sorcerer and Druid
Dedicated: Cleric, Druid, Monk, and Paladin
Smart: Cleric and Wizard
Strong: Barbarian, Fighter, Paladin and Ranger.
Tough: Barbarian and Fighter.
Quick: Fighter, Monk, Ranger, and Rogue

Some starting notes to self:
Cleric: Defense Bonus of the Dedicated Hero or the Smart Hero. If taking the Defense Bonus of the Smart Hero, the character is only proficient with light armor but has faster spell progression as that of the Priest.
Fighter: Defense Bonus as per the Strong Hero or the Quick Hero. If taking the Defense Bonus progression of the Quick Hero, the character is only proficient with light armor and shields.

I am mainly looking for input and online OGC references and not really looking to purchase any new rulebooks.

However, if someone is impressed with some product out there, please mention it and give me your thought about its pros and cons.

Are you looking for somethign like this: http://members.lycos.co.uk/merlinsworkshop/front.htm?

Do you want Base Classed or Advanced Classes?

If Advanced then between the Uraban Arcana and the d20 Modern Core book you should be able to replicate all of them:

Barbarian = Thrasher
Ranger = Wildlord or Shadow Hunter
Cleric = Acolyte
Wizard = Mage, Techno Mage
Sorcerer = Mystic (just change the spell list)
Druid: This one might give you some problems, but with a themed spell list it would be easy to adapt from Acolyte or Mystic
Rouge: simple Base class combos, Fast and Smart probablly
Paladin: The Holy Knight Prestige Class is obvioulsy the way to go on that one.

Do you have in mind a Medieval Fantasy using D20 Modern Rules or a d20 Modern game that replicates DnD in a different setting?

I was intending on Base Classes but I may give Urban Arcana a look.

I wanted Medieval Fantasy using D20 Modern but at some point some parts of some Post Apoc game systems may come into play.

Actually, I've taken it the opposite direction, converting d20Modern's six base classes into D&D, with no Action Points, Defense bonus, or medium saves and skill/feat lists taken from D&D. So far, it's worked nicely.

The action points and the defense bonus is the part I want to integrate in. Armor will work as damage reduction except for shields which still add to armor class.

Not saying you can't, I'm just saying that in my group we didn't use those parts. Action points aren't a bad concept, but they're a VERY different dynamic than what D&D is used to. Class defense bonuses are meant to counteract the ever-increasing BAB, which is something that magic items in D&D already do, so you shouldn't add Defense unless you're reducing defensive magic items. And so on. What we wanted was six classes, each of which concentrates on a different stat, each with its own skill list, talent list, and feat list.

Here is the first of the 20 level fantasy classes I am basing off of the Modern Core classes....the Strong Fighter

It is mainly a cut and paste from the SRD and the MSRD.

I would appreciate any comments especially concerning the Def Bonus and Rep Bonus after level 10.

I plan to add some more fantasy flavored Talent trees also like those found in the Darklore preview rules. This is a cool product. See link:

Next, I will work on a Tough Fighter (Constitution as the primary Ability) then onto the more complex ones.
