HA! It's a local rules supplement. For LOCAL PEOPLE!

I can all but guarantee I'm the only American on these boards that caught your League of Gentlemen reference, Bagpuss. What a weird little show that was...
Jumps up and down.

"I did! I did!"

But then again, I'm not American.

Did I miss it, or did we ever get to know what the Butcher was really selling?

It occurred to me whilst reading this thread that Alan Moore has had two of his comic series translated onto the silver screen in recent years: From Hell and now League. And they're both Victorian-era tales. If he weren't a practicing magician, I'd make some crack about being born out of his time, but as it stands... let's not comment.

I wanna see a Watchmen film, but that ain't gonna happen...

Anyway, I have no real input on an 'official' steampunk universe. My approach is to just run at a story head-on and throw in anything that is needed... the world comes from that. Oh, and nobody would like it if I threw in giant steam-powered mecha. Hey, I remember putting one of those into my Snark Hunt game! Hee hee hee.

End lunatic ranting.
