d20's to d6's: What's the ratio in your dice collection?

Haven't actually counted. But I've played D&D, Star Wars d6, Shadowrun, and White Wolf games a great deal over the years. So, I have many more d6 and d10 than a strict D&D player would.

Starting to play warhammer really blew my ratio when I bought a few 'cubes' of 36 d6 each. But I do have a lot of d20s as I provide dice for my whole group to use.

Yea, as a warhammer and wh40k player I have tons of d6s. I do have quite a few d20s (not nearly as many as my d6s though), and a sizable number of d10s. I have very few d8s and d4s and those always seem to be the dice i need.

But I gotsa ask... why the question anyways?

Ah! I was wondering when someone was going to ask! ;~D

Well, it's like this. Since about mid-July I've been designing alternative shapes of dice. Eventually, I intend to start a business revolving around selling my dice to the role-playing world. However, starting said business would require a substantial amount of capital. At this time, I've decided that the wisest course to follow would be to start with just one type of dice. This is both for monetary and practicle purposes.

The question is, which die? I've narrowed it to two options: the d20 or the d6. Now, I can't see selling d20's in bulk but, due to size, I'd obviously be able to charge more for a singular d20 than I would for a singular d6. HOWEVER, the d6's would most logically be sold in groups.

So this thread is to help me gauge which would be the more lucrative dice to sell. Thanks for the responses, BTW.

As a DM, I find I need to roll a lot of d20's for attacks and so forth, so I've picked up a number of spares there. However, my d6's heavily outnumber them primarily because I also picked up a 36-dice block from Chessex at GenCon a few years ago. So my ratio is about this:

21 d20's vs. 60 d6's

Toss out the 36 from that chessex block and it's almost even.
