Daggerheart survey from Darrington Press

darjr

I crit!
Darrington Press has a Daggerheart survey out.
It has questions about playing, and if you have and are still. As well as questions about digital tools and what your u are using and what you’d like. Also about physical tools/supplementa.

What did you tell them?

They certainly seem to think digital is potentially important, but I guess thats what survey's are for.

Hmm now I want to find my book...

Thanks for the survey link. Yeah, I don’t see a big need for digital tools myself, especially if it’s just more Demiplane content (not a big fan there).

Mostly I just want additional ability choices for all the existing Domains, more monsters, and more environments.

The main thing I need is that Hope and Fear book! Doubling adversaries and environments as well as a GM screen (yes, I ordered the deluxe) and adding four new classes will be a major boost to my games.

After that ... I wonder about adventures. I have found DMing Daggerheart to be ... easier and my play groups have been good about contributing and I'm unsure if Daggerheart adventures might end up too ... railroady? I dunno. But I'm in favour of anything that makes more Daggerheart GMs.

I think there is definitely room to build Daggerheart adventures more around the Savage Worlds "Plot Point Campaign" model than like the 5E model. Give the GM the important inflection points, all the necessary adversaries and environments, and let the GM run it.
