Damage for a Large Greatsword?

I'm looking to find out how much damager a Large Greatsword does against medium and large+ creatures. The closest I could figure id 2d8/2d8 based on the Arms & Equipment Guide. Is that correct?

All weapons deal the same damage to all opponents, regardless of the opponents' size. The different damage by opponent size was a 2nd edition thing. In 3.5, weapons deal different damage based on the wielder's size.

Well, it's probably more accurate to say that the weapons deal different damage based on the weapon's size. If a Large creature drops a one-handed weapon and a Medium creature picks it up, the damage doesn't change (though it becomes a two-handed weapon, and in 3.5, the Medium creature has an innappropriate-size penalty).
