Dara: Traitor, enemy, ally?

"For the last time, I am not a part of your rebellion. I am a part of his!" she shouts, indicating Jansten.
((Ah.... just to clarify Jansten's not there.... so far as I know the only ones that are int eh library are Justice and L'Aurel......others obviously can be there- just to this point no one has stated or mentioned they are))

Smiling to herself, she rings to L'Aurel, "If this was and interrogation, Archonus would be here."
Moving further into the back of her chair as if trying to part herself from the conversation, through the rings, "Cousin, there are many types of interrogation, and asking her question after question I think is not a typical conversation."

"Trust requires the input of both parties, Dara. If there is information you want from us - by all means ask away! If there is something we can do for you - please, make your requests known! If we have given you a reason to withold your trust, tell us now - if not, we may have a reason to withhold ours.
"I do not require, or even desire your trust. Not when I have that of a true leader. I do not need to trust you, and neither do I desire your own trust in me. I have a child. A cause. If you would send me from this room, so be it. But as with all of Lord Fitzquaron's followers, I have been granted shelter, here. Squander it if you will - but it is not only my trust that you would be losing if you cast me out!"

These are questions that are not sensitive - I would think that you would love to tell the tales of your release for the Bluestar's grasp. You seem to care quite deeply for Jansten, why not tell the story of your rescue at his hands?"
"To tell the tale of my escape, I would have to tell you of my capture, of the months spent in the deathlord's control - would you have me shame myself before you? Speak of the unspeakable? Is this your demand? That I humiliate myself here for the pleasure of a cup of tea?

You have trusted me with nothing that you would not give a well-trained dog. What right that gives you to my past is beyond me."

OK - then instead of "I am a part of his" she says, "I am a part of Janstens!"

**rings - I think we have cause to be very suspicious of this woman. If she is not willing to divulge even the information surrounding her release.**

((Diplomacy Check : 48 - 50 if L'Aurel assists))

"Dara, I have meant no offense to you. Whether or not you are aware of it, we work for many of the same goals - though many of them ride below the surface of our outward actions... I can only imagine what it is like carrying a child in these trying times - don't you wish for a world that is safe and stable in which to raise that baby in?"

Justice sighs, "All I am attempting to accomplish is to ensure our rebellion is proceeding as smoothly as possible - for the future of all of us. If you do not wish to answer these questions, by all means, take your leave, Lady Goldenblade. However, your answers - if they come - are of special interest to myself, as well as the goals of the Circle."

Trying to calm things down, "Dara, please. This was not to interrogate you. I am truely sorry we could not help you sooner, and just as sorry that we cannot help the thousands of others that have fallen into his grasp. I did not know of your plight, the only time I have seen you before was in Oceanus." The first time mentioned since she only able to piece the strange events of that event this very morning, "You spoke of no need for help, nor asked for it. You wore the blue of your master then, and you gave Kareth and I no chance to help you. We will not force you out of the shelter we have granted you for we have promised it to you. I only came here tonight to talk with you. To find out about this person Dara Goldenblade who fights and lives with us."

Through the rings, "I didn't say we should trust or ignore anything she has said, but there are possibly more... diplomatic ways to pursue them. A friend will tell you more then an enemy."

"I will answer questions that I feel are relevent. Trust me when I say that my past is no darker than most in Jansten's circle. It would pain any of us to speak of it, and I am no different. Ask what you will, but my past is mine."

Justice looks into Dara's eyes, "If you will not answer about your past, answer about your future. What purpose do you have in Janstens rebellion? What are your goals? How would you see the Bluestar brought down?"

"The time for seeing the Bluestar brought down is past, at least in my life time. You have, perhaps rightly, chosen to join with the Deathlord against what you see as a greater threat. He is strong, and he is cunning - unless I were to take the same soulless path as he, I will be long buried before warhorns will sound against his walls.

I have training, knowledge of the South - and a child. I was a part of Jansten's rebellion to see the Bluestar felled. I am now a part of yours because I was led here by him. I may merely have traded one master for another, but all that I do I do for his glory. He chose, and so I follow."
