Dark PBP game seeks new player

My 16th level PBP game, Blood Below, is seeking a new player. It is set in a homebrew world and likely to involve a journey into the Underdark.

I would prefer if you are willing to take over an existing NPC, a changeling cleric/paladin that will be travelling with the party. Don't worry if you don't have the Eberron book; a changeling is a kind of doppelganger/human cross and I can explain it to you.

If the NPC --> PC thing doesn't work, another option is to play a cleric that could replace him or another new character.

In this game, you'd have to find out information on the other PCs in character, and what you learn may or may not be the truth. Though I'd fill you in on what the character already knows.

I was mostly interested in the stats of the character I'd be taking over, but also in the class-balance in the game in case I decided to make a new chatacter.

I'd let the incoming player stat him as if he were a new PC, except that it must conform to what has been established IC, such as wearing a chain shirt and casting cleric spells of at least 5th level. Changeling cleric/paladin (total 16 levels), 87 point buy 1 for 1 from 0, 260k equipment, mostly core rules only. For hp, round up the average of each HD (so a d8 becomes a 5), except max for the 1st level HD.

Current PCs include a male drow who claims to be "a very powerful wizard", and a couple with an outdoorsy background that seem like warrior-types (a female half-dragon half-elf, and a male half-elf with a wolf companion).

I should mention a few important points:

1. Good writing and roleplay are important.

2. I aim for posting 1/day. In practice it's been slower, but I'd like to reverse that trend. For combat, when it's your turn, you have to post within 48 hours or I'll post your actions.

3. This is a mature game. Nothing is off limits - rape, vulgarity, drug use - but neither is such subject matter encouraged or to be abused.
