Kanna stops short of her savage charge, completely flummoxed as the others start talking to the Templar as if they're old friends!

She looks back and forth between them, struggling with a sudden urge to flee. Surely this proved they were in league with the pawns of the Sorceror-Kings! It took a moment longer for the situation to sink in. The Templar were...sluggish, with a dullness to their eyes. The hairs on the back of her neck stood out. Magic. Sorcery though?

"Why?" the halfling hissed, whirling to look at her 'allies.' "Why do we spare them?!"

Atroclos rumbles down softly, "Not sparing them... Just keeping them quiet til we kill their boss. We kill them on the way out."

Hearing through the door is difficult given the thick stone door however Tarsin's other senses can pick up something, he can smell the faint acrid smell of smoke. Given that it had yet to slither from under the door you would assume the fire has only just been lit.

Chick checked the knots on his prisoner and klicked and gestured to Kimet and Kana that one prisoner would do, if they wanted to kill the other.

Kimet didn’t waste anytime. She nodded at Chick and then took one of her new metal handaxes and sliced the throat of one of the Templars they had captured, kicking him over to gurgle and bleed out on the ground.

“That happens to you if you cause trouble,” she hissed in the other man’s ear before shoving a gag into his mouth and tying it painfully tight to make sure he couldn’t call out any warning.
