The small side door opens to a small side room. Crammed into the room is a desk that fills the entire width of the room. Upon the desk is several words written in the same script it appears to be some form of list.

Kimet peered into the side room as well. “More of that damn scribbling,” she said, shaking her head. She picked up the parchment and shoved it over toward Tarsin. “Read this.”

To Tarsin's magical comprehension he can read the riveting contents of the list. The first column appears to be names of people, the second column appears to be names of books from the other room.

My eyes go wide as I read over the lists, then I thrust the paper back to the gladiator. "Keep this close, Kimet! It is an ancient official writ. 'Let it be known that the bearer is a free person, owned by no man, entitled to all the rights and privileges of citizenship in this stupid underground library.'" Then I drop the paper, heedless of whether she catches it.

Kimet blinks and takes the parchment. “I’m already free,” she snapped. “I killed enough Templars to make sure of that. What the bloody sands am I going to do with a bunch of books?” Still, she rolled up the parchment and tucked it into her bag. If it was that important, maybe the man who hired them would want it.

“So back the way we came?”

Kimet left the library to Tarsin and walked back out past the skeletons. There had been some stairs heading down. She paused to see if this was the way the Templars had gone.

Kimet cannot find any trace of the templars heading down the stairs but the floor is different it is harder more like a marble surface.
