DC on massive damage saves?

In the DMG, there is an alternate rule listed for death due to massive damage. The rule states that a medium sized character must make a Fortitude save if it sustains 50 or more points of damage from a single attack. Anyone know what the DC of the fort save should be? I don't see it anywhere in the DMG.

Death from massive damage is not a variant rule. It is a core rule found in the PH on page 129. If you take 50 or more points of damage from a single attack, you must make a Fortitude save (DC 15) or die. The variant in the DMG is death from massive damage based on size. The amount of damage is increased or lowered based on the creature's size. So if a halfling (Small) takes 40 or more points, or an Ogre (Large) takes 60 or more points in one attack, they make the Fortitude save or die. The ELH suggests dropping this rule or doubling it to 100 points for epic level characters, BTW.
