DDI Character Visualizer to have bust slider

Fun article. It's like Gilmore Geeks.
I concur on all counts.

I'd also like to point out for everyone who didn't bother to read the article, that the character visualiser seems to work a bit like Oblivion, there already a bunch of sliders for physical features, and the "bust slider" is merely one that hasn't been included yet.

I actually find Shelly's writing pretty humorous. *shrugs* I don't get what all the nerd rage is about. She reminds me of several girls I dated before I got married. And my wife has very similar tastes, although my wife doesn't game.

And will there be a fat gauge? Corpulence is not just for successful merchants.

And honestly, the bust gauge is a grand way to get insight on the player. Having an elf sporting 38gg's says many things without words.

I wish I could somehow divine the purpose of her existence....

Alas, it eludes me.

Also, I'm disappointed at the lack of Dragonborn-related comments in this thread.

I'm pretty sure there actually IS a fat gauge. We saw screen shots a while back, and one of the things they emphasized when presenting them was that "middle aged, fat and homely" was an included option. It wasn't all young, handsome muscular dudes.

I was discussing how PCs look with my players last session. Since its a fantasy game, I just assume (unless the player tells me differently) that all the PCs are better than average looking , and have the kind of metabolisms that don't put on excess weight no matter how much they eat. All the males have larger than average... endowments. All the females have larger than average breasts, but they never cause the PC back pain or make male NPCs talk at the PC's chest. The female characters never get scars on their faces, no matter how much fire damage or cuts they take. The men might get a cool fencing scar, which only make them look more rugged. The PCs don't smell bad, their teeth aren't rotten, and their clothes always fit. The PCs routinely run into people who are overweight, ugly, scarred, deformed, smelly, diseased or otherwise unattractive. The PCs aren't those things because its a silly fantasy game. Even the female Gnome Illusionist is kinda hot for a Gnome!

There is the question of the extent to which a silly fantasy game should perpetuate a certain idea of what successful people look like. Obviously, if DDI only supported white people, that would be a problem. It's not so obvious when all the white, female adventurers look like Jenna Jameson (spelling?).
