at the Iron Dragon train...

Just stepping on the train, Scarlet MacQuinn looks around at the dusty town of Billings Montana. While it is fairly late in the day the sun is still fairly hot and there is a dry breeze blowing out of the east. A porter behind you is carrying your large suitcase, and there are about 8 or 9 other people milling about when you hear one of the other passengers...
Lord of mighty, what is going on down there? Are they fightin' in the streets like a pack a children?" says a middle aged woman. The man who is colleting her bags looks over and turns somewhat pale "Ah nothing to see there Gracie my dear... lets get you inside and out of the sun right away..." He then rushes her off towards town not stopping to look at the fight...
Looking over you can see what looks to be two men wrestling in front of the Sheriff's office, and three other people standing around, one with a rifle out and everything! Not what you would typically see in small town on a hot afternoon...
Spot 2+0 (WIS) as you were getting off the train to notice what was going on, so you don't notice anything until the end of the round. Next round will be a surprise round for you, you will get to react on initiative 15+8 = 23 but only with a partial action

at teh sheriff's office

Fate chip, re-rolling 17+7 = 24 Success! You use your Hexslingin' roll to see if you hit with a ranged touch attack, and a 24 is an easy hit; Damage is 1d10+2, roll 6+2 = 8 points of damage...

I will post what Thomas does tomorrow if I get an email from him

OCC sorry about the new post

Running Wolf switches her tomahawk to her left hand and places her right on Boy With Curl's struggling form. Spirits, hear my plea! Grant this one the strength to fight on!

[OOC: I cast Cure Light Wounds on Dustin. Ritual is +8, Concentration is +6 (in case he gets an AOO, but I don't think he does. AC is 12 though). I do this as soon as able, naturally.]

OOC: I would have posted sooner, except I seem to be hitting the site, when it has been down on both days. Well, here goes:

As this was happening before Felix and Dustin's moves, I fire my rifle at the ground near the two figures in an attempt to scare away the beast for a clear shot. I bark, "You shall not be as fortunate in my next attempt, foul beast!"

On this round (in which Running Wolf is attempting to heal Dustin), as their struggle continues and the two don't seem ready to separate, I will have to use actual force against the "foul beast". If the "foul beast" attempts to flee or gives me an opening, I will use rapid shot to give myself two shots at it this round. Otherwise, I aim carefully and shoot once at the "foul beast".

OOC: I hope I don't hit you Dustin:D

Scarlet tosses her long fiery-red hair over one shoulder and hikes up the hem of her nice blue dress as she steps down off the train. Squinting in the bright light, she unfurls her matching blue sun-umbrella and raises it to shield off the afternoon glare.

She lays her big green eyes on the porter and tries to look as helpless as possible, "Thank you sir, I'm so lucky to have such a strong man as yourself to help carry my suitcase for little old me. It'd be mighty kind if you could escort me to the nearest hotel. I surely don't know how I'd get along without you!"

Distracted by the comments from the crowd and the commotion taking place nearby, Scarlet frowns and looks over towards the group scuffling in front of the brick building. While keeping her eyes fixed on the events taking place, she adds her own voice to that of the other passengers, "My oh my, what a wild place this Billings is! Who are those people? Isn't there a Sheriff in town to stop this?"

Forgot to say Felix you use 3 Spell points to cast your spell

Thomas, you fire at the ground next to the two on the ground but they seem to be ignoring you right now... even with lead flying!

Just waiting to here what Dustin is going to do before the next round...

back at the train...

Scarlet, you ask the porter and he looks around "Well now ma'am, they be a fightin' right there in front of the Sheriff's so I don't rightly know... of course this town use to be so peaceful but something just an't right with it anymore. I be a glad every time we leave."

Some of the other passengers are all now watching when a gunshot rings out and you can hear the people down their yelling and cursing. But you can really make out the words and the others around you start screaming and running this way and that.

Scarlet tenses with excitement, thinking: Gunfire! Music to my ears!

She crouches low and shouts back to the porter, "Watch my bag! I'll be back...." No time to unlock my pistol from the suitcase, gotta move fast. She hurries off towards the brick building, making a beeline towards one of it's side walls.

(OOC She's trying head towards a place where she can be very close, yet still be hiding around the front corner wall of the Sheriff's office. If that makes any sense....)

Dustin's eyes widen in absolute terror as he sees the creature reveal its true nature. With a bloodcurdling scream and cursing at the top of his lungs, he tries to push the thing off of him and get as far the hell away from it as he can, back for the Sherriff's office.

Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days... everytime I tried the site was down. But it looks like I got back in time for some fun! ;)
