and then that sphere crashes soundlessly against the centermost, which in turn sends the third sphere swinging up in a wide arc, to hang suspended for the space of an age before falling again, to send the left heavenward in turn. Back and forth, back and forth, in an endless cycle.
...and within the spheres, worlds make war as reality quakes.
OK, I got nuthin'.
Ooh, ooh.... picture a flat universe, studded all over with nebula like great lights, against which the crystal spheres collide, bouncing and rolling down and around in an unpredictable path that not even the gods understand, all to entertain a blind, idiot god. Men know him as... the Pinball Wizard.
