Delta Green D20, its alive!

Does the quickstart just give rules, or Mythos background info as well? Because DG is always a worthwhile purchase, but it's a lot less worthwhile if you don't know what Mi-go are, and don't know what Deep Ones are, and don't know who Nyarlathotep is, and don't know why Innsmouth is noteworthy, etc. etc.

If you do know what these things all are, then DG is worth its weight in gold regardless of which other books you do or don't own.

Mind you, I don't have a plastic so I can't order online. All my FLGS no longer carry such a book, not even in their dusty bargain bins. I asked them to ask their distributors and they don't have one copy in their warehouses.

Sorry, no CoC d20, no DG for me.

Check regular bookstores like Waldens, Barnes and Noble, etc. They sometimes have copies of the CoC d20 book sitting in the gaming section.

Just rules, but the DG book has stats for the creatures involved (not that there are many). And I would point curious gamers to the works of HP Lovecraft as an adjunct to running a CoC game if they had no prior knowledge - all of the major stories are on-line.

As someone who is also credit-cardless (at least until a month ago), I've found that many (though not all) places take money orders.

I've been strongly considering selling my original Delta Green since my Cthulhu-esque game fell apart.
Man, I can never keep a Cthulhu game going. I only have one player who likes it. :( Even then, I would sure hesitate to sell my precious Delta Green. It's just so darned good.

I agree, but I'm not sure if I will ever get use out of it again considering my players prefer vanilla D&D over other genres and systems. Hence, my leaning towards selling it while the book is in near mint shape.

I can understand, I suppose. . . I guess if I was going to sell, I'd probably want to do so soon before the reprint is available. I know I'll never get the use out of my copy that I'd like, but I've been working on slowly introducing elements (like the Fate) into other games, like Shadowrun. . . they'll never know what hit them.
Vanilla D&D. . .yeah, sometimes players suck :D

Hum.... Fate + Shadowrun = Evil Goodness!!

Thanks for the idea. I am starting to work on a Shadowrun campaign and that idea has just opened up a nasty can of worms for my players! ;)
