Descent/Runebound

Shadows over Camelot

My buddy and I just tried that a couple of days ago but with only two people (taking two characters each) just to get the feel of gameplay so we can put together a bigger group. It's definitely one worth trying but I think it will be better with the possibility of a traitor.

It is. Oh, it is. :)

I've had a *lot* of fun with the game because of the traitor - especially as there may not be one!

For those who play Runebound, what optional rules do you use?

Cheers!

The one game I played of this was excellent (even if we were wrong in our thinking on which player was the traitor).

A friend of mine told me that in a three person game he played two of them forfeited two swords each accusing one another, decided they couldn't risk it to accuse the third (and he hadn't been acting traitorous anyway) and wound up losing because he was! :p
